Bury 3, Yeovil Town 2: Johnson will be looking for big improvement
9:59am Tuesday 24th January 2012

YEOVIL Town manager Gary Johnson will be looking for a huge improvement when his team return to action on Saturday when they play host to Preston North End at Huish Park in the npower League One.
The Glovers' first-half showing at Bury last weekend was horrendous and they found themselves 3-1 down at the interval.
A few choice words from Johnson during the half-time break, spurred a recovery from his side - but the damage had already been done in the opening 45 minutes.
Bury broke the deadlock in the eighth minute when Steven Schumacher scored, but Yeovil were back on level terms within moments when Ryan Dickson netted from close range.
But Joe Skarz restored Bury's advantage midway through the first-half and then they went 3-1 just before the break amid bizarre scenes involving Schumacher and Giles Coke.
Both Bury players began squabbling over the ball to see who took a penalty. It needed the intervention of other team-mates to break up the fiasco.
Schumacher eventually got the ball and scored the penalty.
Although Yeovil were well and truly outplayed in the first-half, you could say they won the second-half 1-0 when substitute Steve MacLean scored in the 87th minute.
