Photo contest launched by housing group
12:00pm Sunday 21st March 2010

YARLINGTON Housing Group will be one-year old on April 1 and to mark the first birthday the company is holding a photo competition, open to everyone.
In recognition of the company’s work to provide affordable housing and build local communities, there are three categories – home, community and yellow.
Photographic interpretation of these three subjects is invited from three age groups – under-11s, 11-17 years and adults.
It could be the home where you live, or someone or something else’s home.
Community is all about the sense of belonging, whilst yellow is in abundance in the Springtime with flowers, Easter Chicks – and it is the colour of the company’s logo.
The photos are only limited by your imagination, so let your creativity loose.
All photographs must be digital, and should be submitted by e-mail to marketing@yhg.co.uk or on disc to Yarlington Housing Group, Lupin Way, Yeovil, by April 1, 2010.
Cash prizes will be awarded to first, second and third places in each class of £50, £25 and £10 respectively, and submitted photos may be featured in the company’s marketing material.
The competition is sponsored by Jones Building Contractors.
